Our location offers optimal conditions for the cultivation of stone fruit due to its low rainfall averaging 420 – 450 mm per year and very good soil values of 80 to 90. This is why our main crop is sweet cherries. We also grow apples, pears, sour cherries, apricots, plums, nectarines and peaches.
Fresh look, same passion – our new website is live!
We produce sustainably.
We produce according to the guidelines of integrated production, which in our view combines the best of organic and conventional cultivation. We are constantly striving to increase biodiversity on our plantation. Scientific studies by the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the Dresden University of Applied Sciences prove that we are on the right track. We pay particular attention to the colonization and preservation of native wild bee species.
We have been breeding our own cherries for 10 years.
In collaboration with other partners, we have been working since 2005 on a location test for newly bred sweet cherry and apricot varieties worldwide. Here we assess the yield performance of the trees and evaluate the fruit quality.
Farm sales directly on the plantation.
Our fruit is mainly produced for the domestic market, but also for European food retailers. Of course, we also offer our products in our sales container directly on our plantation in Beesenstedt. Here we sell fresh fruit seven days a week from morning to evening during the season. You can reach us via Freister Str. at the northern exit of Beesenstedt.
